Webcheckout Interface

 

Front Page

The Front Page is an auto-refreshing view of Resources and Allocations for the Media Loans Checkout Centre. This can be used to see an overview of the day, for both expected pickups and expected returns.

 

New Checkout

The New Checkout page option is for students who have not submitted their order requests through to Webcheckout and would like equipment for this very time. This page will allow you, the operator to create a new checkout for the student.

 

Pickups

The Pickup page option is the last step before a student receives their reservation and lets Webcheckout know what resources are leaving the loans office. This page is used when the student has arrived and is ready to take their equipment home and will allow you, the operator, to modify (resource change, add/remove, date/time adjustment, renew) pre-existing orders before it’s finalized in the system.

Reservations

The Reservation page option is for students who have not submitted their order requests through to Webcheckout and would like equipment for a future date. This page will allow you, the operator, to create a new reservation for the student.

 

Returns

The Return page option coincides with the final stage in our circulation process. This page is used when a student is physically bringing back their equipment and will allow you, the operator, to inform WebCheckout which resources are returning to the loans office.
